What sets me apart as a Cosmetic Dermatologist?

There are so many amazing providers, but for me one of the most important things is NOT fixing every spot and every wrinkle. Being a good artist means knowing when the painting is finished (which in and of itself is the art!)

Likewise as a derm, more is not better and I like an undertreated, natural look. Saying no to patients is important if I don’t think it will enhance.

This medical patient had no idea we could easily zap away a couple of brown spots. She was so thrilled as was I after a couple of quick, painless Picoway sessions. She doesn’t need or want anything else!! Simple fixes with big results.

Technically empathy is not laughing at your patient’s pain, but laughing uncontrollably when it’s your delicate flower of a college bestie who you have coerced into a laser treatment feels like honest love 💕

Aesthetic work can be subtle, yet impressive with facial reshaping.

Using Restylane fillers, I injected this young, gem of a patients cheeks and under eyes achieving a more heart shape face (shortening her longer, oval face). Injections are not just about a wrinkle or a shadow but what actually makes you look better ✨

And if I don’t think something will enhance you, I will tell you to go away! 😘
